National Tech to Gov Virtual Hiring Forum and Job Fair Draws Over 1300 Jobseekers

The United States Office of Personnel Management, in contract with the Volcker Alliance and Tech Talent Project, held the first event in the new series of Tech to Gov Virtual Hiring Fairs and Forums on October 31. The fair brought together more than 1,300 tech jobseekers to explore careers and build personal relationships with hiring managers at more than 30 federal agencies. This event, open to aspiring public servants across the country, featured remarks by Rob Shriver, acting director of OPM, and Harry Wingo, the Deputy National Cyber Director, along with live demos of leading tech products built by public servants and tips and guidance on how to transition from the private sector into government.
