North Carolina University Presents Thomas W. Ross with William C. Friday Award

Citing his commitment to leadership in education and public service, as well as his involvement in numerous civic and community activities, North Carolina State University presented Volcker Alliance President Thomas W. Ross with the William C. Friday Award on Monday, February 27. Mr. Ross accepted the award at a ceremony held at NC State’s Hunt Library Duke Energy Hall, and then delivered a lecture open to the public where he discussed non-partisan redistricting reform.
The William C. Friday award is named for the former UNC president and honors his dedication to service as well as his excellence in leadership and character. The recipient of the William C. Friday Award is selected in part by the senior class of NC State’s Park Scholars, some of the University’s most exceptional students.
