Volcker and Glasgall Meet with Knight-Bagehot Scholars

Volcker Alliance Chairman Paul A. Volcker and state and local program director William Glasgall on October 4 dined with the 2017 class of fellows in the Knight-Bagehot program at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Mr. Volcker discussed his years as Federal Reserve chairman, the US and global economy, risks to the financial system, and state fiscal challenges being addressed by the Alliance. The program is an academic year-long fellowship for business and economic journalists. Mr. Glasgall is an alumnus of the program.
