This is an organization that honors Mr. Volcker’s vision of public service while not being afraid to find innovative ways to carry it forward into the future.” -- Veryl Clark

Claudia Tjong joined the Volcker Alliance in February 2024. In her role, she supports the operational side of Volcker’s different initiatives. After earning her degree in international business from the Netherlands, Claudia delved into the American food industry for over a decade where she focused on back-of-house operations. It was her transformative experience at an artisanal wholesale bakery, where she managed interns from the re-entry youth program by ‘GOSO’, that ignited her passion for non-profit work. For the past seven years, Claudia has been deeply engaged in public elementary school operations for Explore Schools in Canarsie, Brooklyn, progressing from associate to ultimately assuming the role of Director of Operations.

Claudia Tjong“I am grateful and excited to be part of the impact that the Volcker Alliance has in empowering and diversifying the public sector. It is humbling to be part of such a dedicated and talented team, and I look forward to learning from them and supporting their initiatives on the operations side.” -- Claudia Tjong

Luis Enrique Ruiz joined the Alliance as a program intern supporting the Next Generation Service Corps in Jan 2024.
