Volcker Alliance Hosted ABFM Panel on Critical US State and Local Budget Issues

For the 2023 Association for Budget & Financial Management conference, the Volcker Alliance hosted the panel Critical US State and Local Budget Issues: Slowing Revenues, Recession, and Infrastructure Opportunities.

The panel featured Carolyn Bourdeaux, former Representative from Georgia, and adjunct professor of Public Administration at the University of Georgia; Lauren Larson, former director of the Colorado Office of State Planning & Budgeting, and former president of the National Association of State Budget Officers; Jane Ridley, senior director and local government sector leader, S&P Global; and Can Chen, associate professor of Public Policy, Georgia State University.
