Paul A. Volcker Inducted into New Jersey Hall of Fame
Paul A. Volcker, founding chairman of the Volcker Alliance, was inducted into New Jersey’s Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 16, 2021. Mr. Volcker, who passed away in December 2019, was inducted with a class of twenty-four other influential figures from history, public service, sports, and the arts. Mr. Volcker was introduced by former governor Tom Kean, who described him as “one of the greatest economists we’ve ever had.” Mr. Volcker’s legacy, accomplishments, and commitment to public service were celebrated alongside other inductees including founding father Alexander Hamilton, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, and four-star Army general Gustave Perna. Inductees are determined by selection committee and public vote.
