At the 2023 annual Association for Budget & Financial Management conference, the Volcker Alliance is hosting the panel: Critical US State and Local Budget Issues: Slowing Revenues, Recession, and Infrastructure Opportunities.
The panel will feature Carolyn Bourdeaux, former Representative from Georgia-D, and adjunct professor of Public Administration at the University of Georgia; Lauren Larson, former director of the Colorado Office of State Planning & Budgeting, and former president of the National Association of State Budget Officers; Jane Ridley, senior director and local government sector leader, S&P Global; and Can Chen, associate professor of Public Policy, Georgia State University.
