Tech to Gov
Connect

Tech to Gov helps tech jobseekers explore careers in service and hosts signature virtual recruitment and hiring events, organized by the Volcker Alliance, that have enabled thousands of jobseekers to explore rewarding public service careers for hundreds of government employers.

In 2023 and 2024, the Tech to Gov Coalition hosted five Virtual Hiring Fairs and Forums that have collectively connected more 3,500 technologists with more than 65 government employers. The Volcker Alliance’s supports the Coalition by driving strategic planning, employer engagement, and event production for virtual recruitment and hiring on the Radancy Platform.

Throughout 2024 and 2025, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, in contract with the Volcker Alliance and the Tech Talent Project, is producing a new series of Tech to Gov Virtual Hiring Fairs and Forums focused on federal technology hiring needs. The first of these events, held on October 31, brought together more than 1,300 tech jobseekers to explore careers and build personal relationships with hiring managers at more than 30 federal agencies. OPM, The Volcker Alliance, and the Tech Talent Project will continue to produce more events in 2025.

Tech to Gov builds on the Volcker Alliance’s successful series of Virtual Career Fairs, launched in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic to support governments as they transitioned their hiring online. Since we launched this line of work, the Volcker Alliance’s virtual career fairs have hosted more than ten thousand jobseekers and employers in state, local, and federal government from every corner of the country, easing the path into public service for thousands of jobseekers.
