Paul A. Volcker Public Integrity Award
Paul A. Volcker Public Integrity Award
The Paul A. Volcker Public Integrity Award is awarded to an individual or organization who has made outstanding contributions to exemplary conduct in public service, leading the way for accomplishing significant programs or projects benefiting the public.

“We must always remember that the basic purpose of public service is neither personal enrichment nor political aggrandizement. It is the pursuit of basic rights and liberties and the betterment of society.” – Paul A. Volcker, Elliot Richardson Lecture , April 2010
In 2025, the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) renamed its “Public Integrity Award” to the “Paul A. Volcker Public Integrity Award” in honor of Chairman Volcker and his achievements on behalf of public service. The award, sponsored by the Volcker Alliance and supported by a generous gift from Ray and Barbara Dalio, will be presented to an honoree every spring as part of the ASPA Annual Conference.
