Virtual Career Fairs
The Volcker Alliance is directing job seekers to government career opportunities through virtual hiring fairs. Leveraging technological innovations accelerated by the pandemic, job fairs draw hundreds of diverse, highly-skilled job seekers and constructively connect them to government employers urgently seeking talent.
In 2023 and 2024, our virtual recruitment focused on strengthening the pipeline of tech talent into government service. Learn more about our recent events below.
Through partnerships with the Presidential Management Fellows program, the Partnership for Public Service, the Tech Talent Project, and the State of North Carolina, our virtual job fairs have brought together over 6,000 job seekers with representatives from more than 300 government agencies, fellowship programs, and nonprofits. Participating jobseekers ranged from recent graduates to senior executives, all seeking careers in government.
Our most recent event, in partnership with the Tech to Gov Coalition, drew more than 800 job seekers to engage with representatives from 21 federal agencies seeking AI talent, including FEMA, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Homeland Security, the Internal Revenue Service, and more.
